I’m Caitlin, I’m 35 and I’m into geology, wildlife and bird watching, bushcraft, evolution, natural history and ancient human history. I enjoy blogging and writing, whether or not anyone reads it… I’m dyslexic so you’ll have to excuse the spelling mistakes. I run a small but national UK charity, and I’m Registered General Nurse specialising in hyperemesis gravidarum research and am currently a full time PhD Student in Clinical Research at Plymouth University.
Rob (37) is my husband; he’s a tree surgeon and together we both farm our little piece of land in Cornwall where we have a mix of Jacobs sheep and other breeds. He is really strong and very kind. He also loves bird watching, science and fire. He needs to sleep a lot!
We have three children, they are:
Aflie, 8, is a brilliant bike rider, tree climber and carver. He loves campfires and marshmallows and everything bushcraft. He does not like mozzarella or Broccolli. Alfie is very kind and pretty sensible and he’s also very fashionable.
Patrick, 6, is nimble and quick. He also like climbing trees and rounding up the lambs. Patrick is good at talking to animal and has a wicked sense of humour. He doesn’t like doing what he is told! He is mainly skin and bones and doesn’t have much meat and he’s allergic to dairy, egg, soya and wheat… which doesn’t leave much to eat!
Orla, 4, likes telling other people what to do but she does not like being told what to do! She is a girly girl and loves makeup and pretty dresses but she also like stomping in mud and is a great walker. She likes to drink milk and LOVES Peppa pig. she also likes canoeing and dog sledding.
Together we are TEAM DEAN and we love adventures in the outdoors. We like to meet new people and see new places and experience new cultures and lifestyles. We hope you enjoy reading about our adventures!
